Currently, several metal alloys on the base of Cobalt and Nickel as well
as aluminium alloys are available for the hybrid spraying technique.
The coatings are entirely dense and have a high adhesion strength to the
substrate. As the figure shows, the expensive surface roughening by grit
blasting, otherwise necessary, can be left out.
